Upload series from local storage to remote bucket

Usage

Arguments

series: Name of the series
local_path: Local bucket folder to upload from
remote_url: Remote bucket folder to upload to
dry_run: If TRUE, report what would be uploaded without modifying the remote bucket

Value

This function is called for its side effect, uploading series files from local storage to a remote bucket storage using the gcloud storage rsync command. Invisibly returns the processx::run() result for the underlying gcloud call.

Details

This function shells out to the gcloud CLI, and relies on it already being installed and authenticated (e.g., via gcloud auth login). It does not manage credentials itself. Currently only buckets hosted at https://storage.googleapis.com/... are supported, as remote_url is translated to a gs://... uri before being passed to gcloud.
